MPHEBATHO CULTURAL MUSEUM, In 1998 Kgosikgolo Linchwe II and the former Premier of the North West Province, Popo Molefe opened the Mphebatho Museum, one of the rural cultural museum in the North West Province. Housed in an old school building on the slopes of the Mmammitlwa Mountain, the building was constructed in 1937 by a Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela initiate regiment

Paul Kruger Country House Museum, most of us know Stephanus Johannes Paulus Kruger, affectionately known as ‘Oom Paul’, as State President. What you may not know, however, is that he was a successful farmer. One of these farms was Boekenhoutfontein, whose buildings were devastated by the British during the Boer War. The farm passed to Kruger’s descendants following his death in 1904 and was declared a national monument in 1971.
